Customization of Letterheads in CorelDraw

In this article you can learn about customization of letterheads in CorelDraw. With few easy steps, you will be able to customize your designs easily.

Opening the File

Once you extract your zip folder, open CorelDraw. It is best to use CorelDraw version X16, but anywhere between X2 to X16 will work.

Ungrouping Designs

When you have the “Pick Tool” selected, right-click on the design and select Ungroup from Menu. If this option is not available, then your selection is already ungrouped.

Changing Colors

Once the design is ungrouped, click on any area outside of the drawing to unselect it. Then select a single object of your choice and pick a color from the color bar on the right. The object will then change to that color.

If you are experiencing issues with the “Pick Tool,” then you can right-click on the object and select “Edit Power Clip.” This will allow you to edit the object and change the color. Once you’re done, just right-click on the object again and select “Finish Editing” to save it.

Changing Designs

If you wish to change the designs, you will need to be a CorelDraw software professional. Contact your local designer if you wish to make modifications.

Adding Company Details

First, you will need to select the “Text Tool” on the left menu or press F8 on your keyboard. Draw out a text box where you want your company name displayed and write in the details. If you wish to upload a logo, go to the “File” menu and select “Import.” Find your logo file and import it.

Printing the Design

Be sure to select “Print Preview” to make sure that there are no mistakes on the design. If everything looks good, then you are ready to print.

These are just basic tips for using the program. If you would like to learn more, you can find CorelDraw tutorials online to help you become a more advanced user.
